TEMPORARY TEACHER (two terms)

Required to Start: 1 st September 2025
The Governors of Ynyshir Community Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to work in our school on an initial two-term contract.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work with pupils in Progression Step 3. The successful candidate will become a member of a team of professionals committed to working effectively with our pupils to meet their learning needs.
Experience of working with pupils within Progression Step 2 or 3 would be advantageous, but a person who has energy, commitment and a willingness to learn would be welcome to apply.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has the belief in developing the talent in each and every child;
- Will develop the high standards that currently exist throughout the school;
- Has the enthusiasm, energy and ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support our pupils;
- Has excellent communication skills to work in partnership with children, parents/carers, staff, governors and the local and wider community.
- Has an interest in leading extra-curricular sporting activities;
- Wonderful pupils who always try their very best.

- Honest, committed and enthusiastic Governors and parents, who work in partnership with the school
