Job description
32.5 hours per week

The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Castell wish to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of pupils with autism, who has experience of teaching pupils with autism and associated Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice tailored to the needs of pupils with autism, be experienced in leading an area of the curriculum, understand and implement strategies for supporting pupils with ALN in a Special School environment and be able to teach a range of subjects to pupils across the school, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
