We are looking for a first class and exemplary School Business Manager. Our current School Business Manager is retiring at the end of this school year. You will be a firm but fair, dynamic, ambitious and enthusiastic individual with an executive skill set.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for all aspects of the school's administration, including budget and finance, income generation, facility and personnel management.
  • Support the Headteacher in operating, maintaining and developing the financial procedures and systems of the school, including liaison with the Local Authority (LA) and outside agencies.
  • Support the Headteacher in exercising responsibility for all aspects of the school site and buildings, including their maintenance, development, procurement and efficient use.
  • Operate as the school's leading support staff professional and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), with responsibility for the delivery of all administration services.
  • Perform the duties of the Clerk to the Governing Body.
  • Lead with Data Protection, GDPR, Health and Safety, project planning, fundraising and income development, Management and Information Systems planning and delivery, asset management and risk assessments.

This post would suit an experienced/ existing School Business Manager but applications from individuals who believe they have strong and relevant skills and experience are warmly welcomed.
