TEMPORARY HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT x 2

Fixed Term contract - 01/05/2025 - 31/08/2026

The Governors at Ysgol Pencae are seeking to appoint two Higher-Level Teaching Assistants. One post is for 10 hours a week with the responsibility of leading our school aged Nursery pupils.

The second post is for 22 hours and would require the successful applicant to be responsible for covering PPA sessions for classes across the school.

Both roles require the successful applicant to be responsible for planning and delivering lessons as well as other responsibilities such as meeting with parents, assessment all whilst being supported and supervised by the class teacher.

The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh essential for this post.

It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment.
