We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Food and Fun Co-ordinator to plan and coordinate the delivery of the Food and Fun Programme in the school and run the programme for a minimum of 12 days during the summer holidays (Job share may be considered)

You will need to:
  • Undertake the Nutrition Skills for Life Level 2 Community Food and Nutrition Skills training including a Food and Fun 'Facilitation Day' prior to the delivery of the programme.
  • Deliver 6 Food and Fun Nutritional Skills for Life sessions during the 12 days of the programme.
  • Develop and coordinate the Timetable of Activities for the 12 days of the Summer Holidays.
  • Monitor and evaluate the delivery of Food and Fun and to provide all relevant information to the Local Authority Food and Fun lead officer in line with agreed deadlines.

We need someone who is able to:
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents and professionals
  • Adapt flexibly to arising situations.
  • Demonstrate a calm and nurturing manner
  • Work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Support a whole-school approach to healthy eating
  • Work to key deadlines
