Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council learning department is looking for a committed, enthusiastic Welsh in Education and Wider curriculum officer, who would support the authority in driving forward the work of the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan and our wider curriculum offer as part of the Raising Aspirations, Raising Standards Strategy and the Councils Wellbeing objectives. The role would require you to engage with departments throughout the Local Authority, Schools and with External Partners to establish and maintain relationships, as well as identifying opportunities for support the Welsh language both in terms of teacher and learner skills, as well curriculum delivery. The role will also require you to engage with regional partners, as well as wider organisations for other areas of the curriculum that form part of the learning departments portfolio including Music and the SEREN provision.
