32.5 hours per week

Temporary until 31 August 2026

The Governors of Mynydd Cynffig Primary School wish to appoint a motivated, inspiring and enthusiastic teacher with foundation learning experience to join our dedicated, experienced team.

We provide a calm and nurturing environment that promotes pupils’ personal, social and emotional development well where nearly all pupils show positive attitudes to learning, behave well and feel safe within the school’s inclusive community We are looking for class teachers who are able to develop caring and supportive relationships with all members of our nurturing, happy school community.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and can inspire and enthuse children. You will be a person with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and who is able to set and maintain high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour. The appointed teacher will need to demonstrate excellent classroom practice and be experienced in leading an area of learning. You must have sound knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales, have experience of teaching across the foundation phase and working with children with Additional Learning Needs.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
