As the Deputy Catering Operations and Relationship Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our schools' meals service. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the efficient delivery of meals that meet the highest standards of quality and nutrition. Your leadership will be crucial in driving our vision forward and making a tangible impact on the lives of thousands of children and young people.
In this role, you will inspire and manage a central operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will oversee the daily operations, ensuring timely and efficient service. Maintaining and enhancing the quality of meals, and ensuring adherence to nutritional guidelines and safety standards will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also support strategies to improve service delivery, in turn supporting the educational goals of our children and young people. Collaborating with schools and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with our vision and objectives is essential. Additionally, you will oversee budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining high standards.

What We Are Looking For From You
We are seeking someone with proven experience in a management role, preferably within the food service or education sector. Strong leadership and team management abilities are essential, along with a genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and implement effective strategies, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate a dynamic environment.
