We are seeking an outstanding individual who is looking to progress within the Teaching Assistant role.

The successful candidate will be working with pupils within the school's STF with pupils' with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will:
  • be able to work effectively as part of a team.

  • have high expectations both for pupils and themselves.
  • have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and staff.
  • support high quality teaching and learning.
  • enthuse, motivate and engage pupils in all areas of learning.
  • be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
  • demonstrate patience, empathy and a nurturing approach when supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
  • be confident in implementing individual development plans (IDPs) and supporting pupils with differentiated learning strategies.
  • work closely with specialist staff to deliver targeted interventions and therapies.
  • assist in creating a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment tailored to the needs of each pupil.
  • be proactive in identifying and responding to pupils' emotional, social and behavioural needs.
  • support teachers in managing pupils' behaviour.
  • support pupils in regulating their emptions and managing their behaviour.
  • Have experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties.
