The Learning Community is seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and driven teacher of Health & Wellbeing based on our Secondary Campus to join our successful Wellbeing faculty. The faculty encompasses PE, Skills Challenge, Nutrition/Catering, PSE, and Health, Social and Child Care.
We are looking for someone who has vision, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and a passion for their subject area and whether newly qualified or an experienced teacher you will be fully supported by a highly motivated team. The majority of the post will cover PE, nutrition and catering however the ability to teach more of the subjects above is desirable.
The successful candidate will also be:
• A dynamic, inspirational and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with high expectations in the classroom.
• Fully committed to learning, high quality teaching and raising standards of all students.
• Passionate about the subject; able to motivate students and staff.
• Committed to ensuring all students reach their potential.
• Able to recognise opportunities and face challenges, whilst maintaining a sense of humour and care for young people.
• Capable of promoting partnerships and collaborative working.
• A role model for students and staff.
