We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2) at Maes Ebbw Special School. The advertised job is for 32.5 hours per week (5 days) for a Key Stage 2 class with pupils with sensory and medical needs.
The role will involve working with pupils with a range of special educational needs of differing ages.
The role requires that you support pupils in class as well as assisting their care needs.
Ideally you will have some experience of working with children in a school setting as well as experience of supporting children with additional needs.
Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
The post will be offered on a fixed term basis to cover Maternity. The position will begin on 01.09.2025 and end on 17.07.2025 (this may vary dependant upon the returning staff member).
THIS POST REQUIRES YOU TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE EWC.
