Are you passionate about Art, Design, and Fashion? Do you have the innovation, industry insight, and enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of creative professionals? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team on a casual basis as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Art & Design, working flexibly across a range of our creative programmes.
In this role, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging curriculum content, supporting learners to develop their imaginative and expressive thinking, technical skills, and understanding of the creative industries. You should have practical experience in traditional and digital drawing techniques, including the use of varied materials, and Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop). Understanding of fashion industry practices, trends, sustainability, and marketing would be desirable, along with the ability to teach across multiple subject areas.
You should have experience of working with young people and/or hold a PGCE (or be willing to obtain one). You should also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population, being passionate about motivating all learners to nurture their creativity, technical skills, and understanding of the creative industry.
