Salary Scale 5: £29,004 - £31,845 pro rata per annum

Approximate salary based on 11.1 hours per week, 39 weeks worked from September 2025 - August 2026 would be £7,481 - £8,214 per annum. The actual salary will be based on the actual number of Term Time Only weeks worked in the academic year.

Are you a dynamic hospitality professional eager to inspire the next generation? We're seeking Industry Instructors in Hospitality to join our team, who will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and assessing high-quality, industry-relevant tasks. Your expertise will be vital in planning and running live events, both on-site and at external venues, providing learners with invaluable real-world experience. Bring your real-world insights to develop innovative approaches and ensure our learners are truly "industry ready."

Your main duties will involve coordinating all aspects of live events, from logistics and budgeting to risk assessments, actively involving learners at every step. You will proactively build and maintain strong relationships with local and national employers, securing invaluable opportunities for guest speakers, work placements, and industry projects. You will provide hands-on training in both front-of-house and kitchen environments, managing groups of learners during practical activities and ensuring professional conduct and engagement.

To succeed in this role, You will need extensive knowledge and experience in both front-of-house and kitchen operations, coupled with a minimum of a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Hospitality. You should be self-motivated, ideally with previous experience working with or supporting young people, and demonstrate flexibility, proactivity, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. While not essential, a Level 3 qualification, prior instruction or assessment experience (or an Assessor's Award), and familiarity with digital tools (like Google Suite) would be a distinct advantage.
