We are now looking to appoint a peripatetic Qualified Teacher of Children and Young People with Vision Impairments (QTVI), 0.2FTE, to work within the peripatetic team supporting pre-school and school aged children and young people who are vision impaired to help us deliver our ambition.

This peripatetic role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a Council that is looking to be innovative in how they deliver services. We are looking for a modern, inspirational, and inclusive QTVI with the relevant experience, enthusiasm, energy, drive, and commitment. You will possess the following mandatory qualification - Qualified Teacher of VI - in addition to a relevant teaching qualification. You will work alongside a small team of dedicated specialist teachers and professionals supporting the needs of children and young people who are vision impaired and will work closely with colleagues within the wider Additional Learning Needs Team in promoting achievement and wellbeing.

You will need to be able to travel within the Local Authority area.
