Salary Details: Scale: ALS1-4 (£19.08- £22.52 per hour - without teaching qualification)
MG1-UP1 (£24.30 - £34.93 per hour - with teaching qualification)
Opportunity to progress onto a further scale
UP2-UP3 (£36.22– £37.55 per hour)

Hours of work: 6 taught hours per week during the course delivery period
(this is dependent on number of learners enrolling/courses running)

Contract Type: Hourly Paid—Permanent

Qualifications:
• It is essential to hold a minimum level 4 qualification in Therapeutic Counselling
• It is essential to hold a Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE or Award in Education and Training
• If not held, the PGCE qualification may be required to be undertaken and achieved (supported by the College) whilst in post

Experience:
• You must be a current practitioner with 2 years supervised counselling practice
• You must hold a Supervision qualification or have one years experience of providing supervision to groups or individuals in a counselling setting
• Experience of delivering a CPCAB course would be an advantage.

Details:
We are looking for a motivated Counselling Lecturer to join our team and lead the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course. You will be part of a two person delivery team who will deliver a hybrid course of face to face and online learning. Please note a residential trip will take place during the duration of course.. Lecturers will be required to attend. There may also be the opportunity to support other Counselling courses run by the College.
