The Governing Body of Malpas Court Primary School is looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistants on a fixed term basis (October 2025 to July 2026) in the first instance, with the possibility of a permanent position.

The individual appointed will be required to work Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours a week as a general classroom assistant with the potential for intervention support. The position will be primarily based within Early Years however, as with all teaching assistant roles, there may be occasions when the person appointed will be required to support throughout the whole primary phase.

Thrive training, ELSA training and intervention program knowledge is desirable.

The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team. The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
