Teacher of English - Maternity Cover - Ysgol Greenhill School

Maternity cover - part time, 26 hrs / 0.8fte

Ysgol Greenhill School is an 11 to 19 comprehensive school that serves the historic walled town of Tenby and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and a welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of their strong values and ethos.

Ysgol Greenhill are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our Area of Learning Experience for Languages, Literacy and Communication. You must be a committed practitioner who is able to deliver English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, whilst motivating pupils to achieve their potential. The ideal candidate will be an engaging classroom practitioner whose learners become confident and engender a desire for success.

We welcome applications from teachers with all levels of experience. Applicants will have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. They will also be committed to achieving excellence and be ready to support the school's vision. This is an exciting time to join the AoLE to contribute to the ongoing development of the new 'Curriculum for Wales' 2022. The successful candidate will join our successful well-resourced department with an experienced and high achieving team and play an active role in raising the profile of Languages, Literacy and Communication across our school.

In the first instance the appointment will be fixed term Maternity cover until August 2026. 0.8fte / 26hours part time.
