Salary: £27,855 - £30,100

Term Time only - 38 weeks

At The College Merthyr Tydfil wishes to we have an exciting opportunity to appoint an Active Wellbeing Lead to join its Learner Support and Wellbeing and Learner Support team.

The successful post holder will form part of a team that supports the physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing of college learners, with a specific focus on active wellbeing whilst also working alongside the college's Sports Academy Co-ordintor to drive forward learner participation in physical activity.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working within post 16 education, particularly in a co-ordinating and supporting role. You will be experienced in supporting others to meet demanding quality standards. You will be appropriately qualified to work in this role, and will be commited to the equality and inclusion agenda, with a willingness to adapt to change, You will also be flexible in your approach, and work effectively within a team. The willingness to work evenings on occasion is also an important requirement of the role.

A DBS check and EWC registration are requirements of this post.
