The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work at Ysgol Gynradd Tonysguboriau Primary School to complement our existing team.
Governors are committed to appointing a teaching assistant who:
- is able to provide high quality learning experiences;
- is an excellent classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of how children learn successfully;
- has a proven record of striving for excellent classroom practice;
- is strongly committed to working closely with governors, parents and the wider community;
- Is personable, approachable and committed
- Support pupils' learning across the curriculum, including those with additional learning needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources to support engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing, following the school's behaviour policy and supporting pupils' emotional and social development.
- Deliver targeted interventions and small group activities to reinforce learning and help close attainment gaps.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress, engagement, and any concerns observed during lessons or activities.
- Support the implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and contribute to reviews and assessments as required.
- Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, including supervising pupils during break times, trips, and other school activities.
