The governing body wish to appoint an experienced teacher with strong leadership skills, a clear vision for raising achievement, and the ability to support and inspire colleagues. The class teacher will be responsible for teacher a Year 4 class in the first instance.

Candidates are invited to outline their own philosophy of primary education, their experience, their expertise and specific skills, abilities and the qualities they would bring to the school including leading and managing whole-school systems for assessment, recording and reporting, ensuring that standards and pupil progress are effectively monitored, evaluated and improved. The role contributes directly to the school's ongoing self-evaluation cycle, effective monitoring and review, and strategic planning for improvement.
