Hafod Primary School: Flying Start Additional Support Worker (two terms)
Swansea Council
An exciting opportunity has arisen at 'Hafod Rainbows' Flying Start. Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative, which seeks to offer support for targeted pre-school children and their families, living in designated areas of deprivation. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach, in order to improve outcomes in preparation for school and the long term.
We are looking to appoint a ASW to support the Flying Start Manager and Deputy in providing high quality childcare provision in our Flying Start setting. You will need relevant qualifications, high standard literacy skills and prior experience of delivering childcare provision to children under the age of 3. You will also need to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and their families as part of Flying Start and a community focussed school.
Please check that you have the relevant qualifications by checking the Social Care website link: https://socialcare.wales/qualifications-funding/qualification-framework/job-roles/flying-start
