Job Opportunity: Learning Support Assistants & Lunchtime Supervisor

Gelliswick CiW VC Primary School - Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants & Lunchtime Supervisor, for 28.5 hours per week (LSA 26 hours & LTS 2.5 hours), to join our vibrant and inclusive school community. These roles are available for immediate start, subject to relevant checks.

Grade 2 - £24,413 for 2.5 hours per week term time only for 44.8 weeks per annum equating to £1,417.32 pro rata rising to 45.8 weeks, £1,448.95 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service.

Grade 3 - £24,796 for 26 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £15,305.51 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, £15,639.69 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
  • Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, primarily within the classroom.
  • Support access to learning for all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the management of pupils and contribute to a positive learning environment.
We are looking for candidates who are:
  • Highly motivated and passionate about supporting children's learning.
  • Committed to high expectations and inclusive education.
  • Able to work collaboratively and flexibly within a team.
  • For the LRC position, candidates must demonstrate a passion for working with children with ALN (Additional Leaning Needs).
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential.
