We are seeking an enthusiastic and self - motivated individual to work collaboratively across the Children and Family Services directorate. You will support the Safeguarding and Equalities Officer to ensure all schools and education establishments are compliant with policy and guidance in respect of safeguarding and equalities.

This rewarding position works alongside a range of partners and organisations including Schools, Children's Social Care, Police and Human Resources to promote the safety and welfare of children and young people across the Education Service.

As the successful candidate, you will provide advice and guidance to promote, evidence and monitor best safeguarding and equalities practices, ensuring to operate in accordance with the Wales Safeguarding Procedures (2019), the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, and other relevant legislation and statutory guidance.

You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, able to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
