IDP Co-ordinator

Salary: £31,049 - £34,435

The College Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a conscientious individual to join our Additional Learning Needs team and provide an integral element of inclusive education at The College. The successful candidate will work closely with college staff and a range of people including learners, families, and multi-agency professionals to ensure that individual learning plans are person-centred, outcome-focused, and aligned with the ALN Code for Wales. Excellent communication, record-keeping, and collaboration are essential skills required for this role.

The candidate is expected to possess a higher level qualificationh (level 5 - 7) related to additional learning needs special educational needs/inclusion - or currently working towards or extensive, relevant experience.

Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above

Extensive training in the area of Additional Learning Needs and/or

inclusive practice in education

A DBS check and EWC registration are requirements of this post.
