SCHOOL CLERK (LEVEL 4)

HOURS: 35 Hours per week - Term Time Only

SALARY: Grade 7 - £24,920 x 84.54%

START DATE: September 2022

The Governing Body of Glenboi Community Primary School are looking to appoint a trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic person to join the staff. Candidates should be motivated, show initiative and have a flexible attitude towards the duties of the post and work that needs to be carried out at the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Liaise between managers/teaching staff and support staff

• Take lead role in the development and maintenance of record/information systems including SIMS, Plasc, i-Trent and finance

• Be IT competent with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and HWB

• Be able to prioritise and work to deadlines

• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills

• Have an awareness of importance of confidentiality and data protection

• Have a working knowledge of attendance procedures and the ability to work with engaging parents to support attendance in school.

• Have the enthusiasm and ability to motivate, challenge and support others at all stages of their professional development.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to work effectively with parents, staff and governors.

• Demonstrate an ability to act on their own initiative and work collaboratively as an effective team member.

• Provide detailed analysis and evaluation of data and produce detailed reports/information as required

• Be responsible for the management of consumable resources, including management of the school budget and regular audit of consumables.

• Liaise between managers/teaching staff and support staff
