The governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and skilled staff in our happy and caring village school.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has proven ability and expertise and can demonstrate the highest standards of learning support. The successful candidate will be someone who embraces change and believes in teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities will include supporting learners to achieve their full potential, facilitating high quality learning activities, and taking an active role in the life of the school. You will be responsible for working with groups of children, some with a range of specific additional needs, for a range of activities under the direction of the class teacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • support high quality teaching and learning.

Special Requirement
This post requires an Enhanced Level of DBS. The successful candidate will need to complete a satisfactory DBS check.
