This post involves the assessment of practical skills and associated underpinning knowledge related to the NVQ programmes at levels 2, 3 and 4 based on company premises.

You will be working with young people, apprentices and mature candidates wishing to obtain industry recognised competency qualifications.

You will be expected to work as an integral part of our delivery and assessment team, be required to plan and organise workplace visits, support/mentor students, carry out on-site practical assessments, and maintain associated student assessment records and progress reviews at our customer sites throughout the South Wales area.

This position requires a high level of self-motivation and organisational skills to complete a busy workload within strict timescales.

You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of both practical experience and technical competence in Mechanical Engineering supported by the completion of a recognised apprenticeship with a minimum of five years post apprenticeship experience and appropriate technical qualifications. An assessor qualification A1or D32, D33 is also desirable.
