Family Engagement Officer

Salary: £31,022 - £33,699 Pro Rata

Contract: 15 hours per week/ 39 weeks per year. Temporary until 31st August 2026

To commence 5th January 2025, temporary to 31st August 2026 in the first instance.

The Governing Body, staff, and pupils seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed family engagement officer who can support our families and pupils.

The successful candidate will:

- effectively engage and work closely with families, staff, pupils and the wider community to motivate pupils to reach their full potential.

- have the ability to work as part of a team and have close liaison between teaching staff and parents.

- be responsible for working with families and pupils with the aim of improving attendance across the school.

- be able to work alongside outside agencies and the local community supporting families and pupils.

- be responsible in providing nurture provision for pupils.

- have excellent communication, organisational and record keeping skills.
