Ysgol Hen Felin is a highly regarded, sector leading special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties and pupils on the autistic spectrum. The school is situated on two sites. The main site is located at Ystrad Rhondda with a satellite provision based in the local college. You may be required to work across both sites although we would look to deploy staff according to their skill set.

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint two dynamic and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants [HLTAs] to deliver PPA cover across the school. The successful candidates will possess a real passion for, and commitment to, working with children with a range of additional learning needs. A combination of experience, flexibility, enthusiasm, innovation and sound organisational skills is essential.
