Location: Bluestone (KS3 EBSD) or Stepping Stones (Anxious & Phobic Learners)

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 3 (dependent on experience) + ALN allowance

Contract: Full time, permanent

Start Date: January 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

Pembrokeshire Learning Centre (PLC) is seeking two exceptional individuals to join our Middle Leadership team as Centre Leads. These exciting roles offer the chance to shape the future of pupils in alternative provision, supporting them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

🏫 About the Roles

We currently have vacancies within:
  • Bluestone Centre - our KS3 provision supporting learners with social, emotional and behavioural needs (EBSD).
  • Stepping Stones - our centre specialising in supporting learners who are anxious, school-phobic or emotionally vulnerable.
Each Centre Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of their setting, ensuring a safe, calm and purposeful environment for learning. You'll oversee the curriculum, manage a team of dedicated staff, and work closely with families and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for learners.

💼 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily debriefs and oversee teaching and support staff
  • Support curriculum delivery and analyse pupil progress
  • Coordinate wellbeing support and pastoral care
  • Manage centre operations, risk assessments, and pupil admissions
  • Be the point of contact for external professionals
  • Attend Middle Leadership meetings and contribute to whole-school development
