The Headteacher and Governing Body of Malpas Court Primary School are seeking an Inclusion Lead who has a proven track record of taking strategic responsibility for provision for vulnerable learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), and those identified as More Able and Talented (MAT).

We are a highly inclusive school that is working to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders in school. We are looking for an individual to be responsible for ALN and MAT across the school, and who will lead on provision and standards for vulnerable groups of learners. This provides the opportunity to combine classroom teaching with a significant strategic leadership role, ensuring that we continue to improve educational outcomes for vulnerable groups of learners including pupils with ALN.

This post full time and is offered on a secondment basis until the end of the Spring Term 2026. There could be flexibility with a part time post holder considered. Please note: Candidates are kindly asked to discuss their interest in the secondment opportunity with their Headteacher prior to applying.

We are seeking an excellent practitioner who:

- Is a dedicated team player and role model with proven ability to lead, challenge and empower children and colleagues.
- Is committed to improving educational outcomes for all learners, including those from vulnerable groups, pupils with an Additional Learning Need and those identified as More Able and Talented.
- Is passionate about providing memorable and authentic learning opportunities for all children with an inspiring, creative curriculum
- Is enthusiastic, motivated, and caring – able to nurture children to achieve their potential
- Is able to embrace community partnerships and play an active role in fostering good links with parents and all stakeholders.
- Is able to identify areas of improvement and contribute creatively to help to continue to improve our school

The appointment process will include a short lesson observation, followed by a formal interview.

Closing Date: Sunday 7th December 2025

Shortlisting: Monday 8th December 2025

Interview dates: Friday 12th or Monday 15th December 2025 – To Be Confirmed.
