This maternity cover role at St. Giles' CiW Primary School offers a diverse working environment. We are looking for a friendly and flexible person, someone who can contribute to our welcoming atmosphere whilst maintaining a busy school office.

We would like to hear from you, if you:
• Have excellent communication and computer skills
• Are comfortable using new technology in a changing environment
• Can deal with calls and enquiries professionally and in a timely manner
• Have experience of being the first point of contact for visitors

Applicants should possess effective inter-personal skills and be comfortable amongst pupils, staff, parents, and visitors. Applicants must have the ability to deal with parents/visitors face to face and over the phone on a wide range of issues, often including sensitive information.

Ailfodelwyd Safle'r Cyfnod Sylfaen a'r Prif Safle rhwng 1986 a 1990, gan ddarparu llety hyblyg a modern mewn adeiladau traddodiadol deniadol. Mae safle'r Cyfnod Sylfaen wedi'i ailwampio ymhellach i ddarparu llety ar gyfer addysg y cyfnod meithrin a Darpariaeth Adnoddau CA2. About Us - St. Giles' CiW Primary School

St Giles is an English medium, Voluntary Controlled Church in Wales Primary School, that opened on the 1 st September 2007. It caters for children aged between 3 and 11 years old. Although a new school, as a result of the amalgamation of St Giles Infant and Junior Schools, there has been a school on this site since 1885.

The Foundation Phase and Main Site were re-modelled 1986-1990, providing flexible and modern accommodation in attractive traditional stone buildings. The Foundation Phase site has been further enhanced to provide accommodation for nursery phase education and a KS2 Resourced Provision. The school has good size classrooms with interactive whiteboards, art and craft resource areas, libraries, and school halls.

The campus consists of outside amenities such as a playground with quiet seated areas, open spaces for games and a canopy for shelter and also a field for use at breaktimes and during P.E. lessons.

The school is conveniently situated near the centre of Wrexham and serves mainly the districts of Hightown, Smithfield, Penybryn, and Erddig.

St Giles offers early education and before and after school care that is provided by a team of extremely experienced staff. The setting is very well resourced and provides a wide range of activities for all who attend.
