Ysgol Bro Dinefwr is seeking an inspiring and visionary Head of Science and Technology to lead our dynamic Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE) from September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the strategic development of Science and Technology within a forward-thinking school committed to delivering the new Curriculum for Wales.
As Head of Science and Technology, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the AoLE, including Biology,
- Chemistry, Physics, Medical Science, and Technology.
- Drive curriculum innovation and ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages.
- Lead and support a talented team of professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous
improvement. - Champion high expectations for all learners and inspire them to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a leader who combines excellent classroom practice, strong leadership skills, and
a passion for Science and Technology education. You will have the ability to communicate a clear
vision, motivate others, and contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school. Welsh
language skills are desirable, and bespoke training will be provided to support development in line
with our strategic aims.
