About the RolePart time 16.5 hours per week
The governors of Eyton CiW VC Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational temporary part-time teacher to cover the maternity leave of the current Year 5/6 teacher starting from February 2026 at least until December 2026 with a possibility of extension until mid-February 2027. The teaching time will be 5 mornings per week plus PPA one afternoon (0.63 FTE).
We are looking for an organised, dedicated and experienced practitioner who takes pride in the quality of their teaching. The ideal candidate will be confident with collaboration and keen to share their ideas as well as readily taking on the ideas of others. They will have high expectations of pupils and themselves as well as a passion for quality teaching and raising standards. A good knowledge of Curriculum for Wales is essential for this role.
Ysgol Eyton is a small, church primary school with 53 children on roll. We offer a warm, welcoming environment in which teamwork is key. Our supportive and flexible staff are always driving the school forward and making Ysgol Eyton a nurturing and inspirational environment for both pupils and adults alike.
