The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a qualified, experienced,talentedand highly motivated Lecturer of Law to join our Business & Technology Learning Area.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver and assess on our Level 3 Access to Law (part ofAgored'sAccess to Humanities & Social Science Diplomas)

  • Approximately 8 - 12 hours per week (You will have no fixed working hours, and will work on an ad hoc basis, provide sickness cover or temporary cover)
  • Fixed term until May 2026

  • You will be paid a month in arrearse.g.any hours that you work in July, will be paid in August, and so forth.

  • £18.23- £35.89perhour

  • Gorseinon campus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess on A Level Law and related Law subjects within vocational specifications e.g. Business is desirable

  • Deliver high quality teaching and learning, effectivelymonitorand track learner progress, creating a positive environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic,socialand personal development

  • Applicants will have a commitment to continuous improvement, will contribute effectively to curriculum development, extracurricular activity andassistwith the planning and marketing of courses.

About you:

  • Possess relevant Degree in Law or related degree.
  • Experience teachingA Level Law essential.

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification or willing to work towards this qualification

  • The ability to effectively deliver and assess on all curriculumidentified.

  • Be prepared to work flexibly to meet needs of the curriculum.

  • Be enthusiastic and inspirational in taking these subjects forward within the college curriculum offering.
