DEPUTY HEADTEACHER Salary Range 6-10
Required for September 2026 (start of Autumn term 2026), subject to completion of pre-employment and safeguarding checks.
Welsh Language Skills are desirable for this position.
The governing body is seeking to appoint a motivational, experienced, enthusiastic and exemplary professional to work alongside the Headteacher by taking a lead role in managing and developing
our school.
The school is a popular and successful school in the picturesque town of Newtown in mid Powys.

• Be an innovative leader, able to engage with curriculum reform to design a curriculum to meet the needs of all learners, including those with ALN.

• Actively promotes the welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding of all children.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to life-long learners and professional development.
