The Governing Body, staff, and pupils of Trealaw Primary School wish to seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Early Years teachers who can support the educational vision of the school. We aim to provide excellent learning opportunities for children, teachers and staff. We currently have 120 pupils on roll.

Governors are committed to appointing a teacher who:

Can lead and inspire staff within the Foundation Phase
  • Is able to create excellent learning experiences that nurture curiosity and independence
  • Plans and delivers high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Curriculum for Wales
  • Can work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support every child’s development
  • Is personable, approachable and aims for excellence

The governors will provide effective support for the successful candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to work closely with them to provide high quality leadership and the best possible education for children.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a lesson observation, which will be held on the W/C 2nd February 2026 and the formal interview will be held at the school on the 10th February 2026.
