The Fern Federation is situated in the community of Glyncoch. The federation is made up of the Cefn and Craig yr Hesg Primary schools who work effectively together to provide high quality educational experiences for the pupils in our locality. We currently have 316 pupils on roll across the two schools, and there is provision for nurture and SEBD pupils from across the local authority. The federation has established strong links with the community and have a supportive, pro-active governing body. The Governing Body of the federation, is looking to appoint an excellent practitioner to join our wonderful teaching team in Cefn Primary School. The successful applicant will need to be able to show evidence that they possess the skills and attributes to inspire pupils and ensure outstanding outcomes. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be reflective and keen to continually improve their own practice in order to enable every child to be the best that they can be and demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across the federation.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a 30-minute literacy lesson of your choice prior to the interview at Cefn Primary School on Wednesday 6th July. If you are successful in part 1 of the interview (teaching) you will be invited to a professional interview held on Wednesday 13th July 2022.
