Role Title: Technician in Construction
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £26,582 - £27,120 salary will be based on a salary assessment and experience.
College Cambria have an opening for a Technician to join our dynamic Construction team at the Deeside campus. We are seeking candidates with extensive hands-on experience in the construction industry, who are capable of performing day-to-day checks on facilities and resources, and ensuring regular housekeeping of workshops. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, organised working environment for both staff and students.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in relevant training activities and provide technical support as needed.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and highly motivated, with a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on our learners' experience.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction related trade
- A Good Standard of Education at GCSE Level (or equivalent).
- A demonstrable breadth of experience within the construction industry
- Extensive experience of maintaining large workshop equipment including regular maintenance.
- Previous experience of working with learners or apprentices is highly desirable.
Welsh skills are essential for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
