Full Time Permanent Position

Tredegar Park Primary School is seeking an inspiring, committed and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to join our Leadership Team. We are a happy and inclusive primary school, educating children aged 3–11. This year, we will enter a new phase of our learning journey as we open up the school’s first Local Authority Learning Resource Base. We are confident that with the support of an active and inspiring Deputy Headteacher, our new journey will be one of success, further promoting the school’s inclusive approach.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become part of a school with a desire to constantly improve its practices in order to support the children and community. As a school, we want our staff and children to ‘Believe and Achieve’. The Leadership Team have a strong vision to support learners to be the best that they can be. On occasions, the Leadership Team need to think creatively to cater for the needs of all learners. For this reason, we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher with a passion for research and a love of improving learning and teaching.

About the Role

The Governing Body is looking for a Deputy Headteacher who will:

● Two formal interview days (successful candidates from day 1 invited to day 2)

The successful candidate is expected to commence employment from 1st September 2026 (subject to safeguarding and recruitment checks).
