About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our Ladybirds Flying Start team. This is a rewarding part-time role where you will support children aged 2-3 years through play, learning, and development in a safe and welcoming environment.
Flying Start is a Welsh Government programme providing funded childcare for families in designated areas. At Ladybirds, we work closely with parents and professionals to ensure every child has the best possible start before school.

What we're looking for:
- A relevant childcare qualification (you can check the framework here: https://socialcare.wales/qualifications-funding/qualification-framework/job-roles/flying-start/flying-start-practitioner
- Good literacy skills
- Experience of delivering childcare provision for children under 3
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and families
