HEAD TEACHER
Salary: Group 2 L9 - L15 £64,174 - £ 74,384 per annum
The Governors want to appoint an outstanding, innovative and dedicated headteacher who puts the child first. A leader with imagination and vision is needed to continue advancing this esteemed school. Applications are invited from current headteachers or candidates with the NPQH qualification.
The Governors would welcome applications from candidates who have the following:
- a clear vision for educational excellence and passionate about improving pupils' achievements
- strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
- be able to work successfully in partnership with the children, staff, governors, parents and the community
- The successful candidate is expected to have a strong and enthusiastic commitment to the Welsh language and its culture, taking into account the history, mood and ethos of the school.
Due to the nature of the post the successful applicant will be be subject to a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment
