Ysgol Greenhill School is an 11 to 19 comprehensive school that serves the historic walled town of Tenby and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and a welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of their strong values and ethos.
This is a permanent full-time position for 37 hours per week, required to start in September 2026.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 24 th March 2026 at Ysgol Greenhill.
Ysgol Greenhill School requires an Attendance Officer to join the Administration Team with responsibility for attendance monitoring and providing administrative support in relation to admissions of all pupils. To promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture. Liaise with Senior Assistant Head responsible for attendance, the Heads of House, the Family of Schools' Attendance Officer and outside agencies. To be the point of contact for Parents/Carers, staff, pupils and Local Authority in relation to all attendance matters.
We require someone who:
- NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
- Very good numeracy/literacy skills
- Effective use of ICT and other equipment/resources
- Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation (training to be provider where necessary)
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
- Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
