Area Youth Worker - East

Conwy County Borough Council

Salary: £35,533 - £38,016 per annum (JNC 17 - 20)

Work base: Hybrid - Schools and in the community

Conwy Youth Service is looking for an enthusiastic youth worker to join the team.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about youth work and most importantly has a passion for working alongside young people to realise their aspirations and ambitions.

The successful candidate will be lead on community based delivery in and around the centre of the county, delivering face to face youth provisions, outreach work and targeted projects for young people. This role will involve working in partnership with local organisation and schools to increase the offer and opportunities for young people.

We are looking for someone with experiences of managing and lead an area and team of youth support workers. The right candidate will join a friendly, enthusiastic and passionate team.

A full and comprehensive understanding of all issues relating to safeguarding will be expected of the successful candidate.
