Teacher - Crossgates satellite provision - Commencing September 2026
Ysgol Penmaes is a day special school that provides education for 115 pupils aged from 3 to 19 years. The school is situated in Brecon and maintained by Powys local authority. The school caters for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties. These include severe learning difficulties (SLD), autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). All pupils have a statement of special educational needs or an Individual Development Plan. As well as the
provision in our main school we opened a satellite provision in Crossgates, Llandrindod Wells, in September 2021. The successful candidate will be based at the satellite provision in Crossgates,
Llandrindod Wells, however there would be an expectation to attend whole school events at the main site at Penmaes and whenever else deemed appropriate by the Headteacher.
