We are looking for a competent, friendly person with initiative to work at our school as the caretaker. The working environment in a school is very important for children and staff, and the caretaker is a key member of staff in ensuring the physical environment is as good as possible. As caretaker you will be responsible for opening and closing the site, carrying out routine safety inspections of the site and building, and carrying out small maintenance tasks. You will also supervise the work of the cleaners.

We need someone who has an eye for detail and can follow procedures, but at the same time is flexible. You will be part of a team bringing you into contact with colleagues, parents and children. You should have good basic maintenance skills but a very clear understanding of when a job needs more expert help.
