About the role
The Governing Body are keen to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and dedicated headteacher who has high expectations for the whole school community. We are looking for a leader who has the ability to maintain a strong strategic direction, foster a positive culture and drive continuous innovation in our provision.

The successful candidate is expected to have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build on the many strengths that already exist and lead this successful school into the next stage in its development.

Aberaeron Primary School

The school is located in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Aberaeron. The school community has grown steadily over the years, and now has around 240 pupils on the roll.

Requirements and Conditions
  • Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all learning support workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • An Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check is required.
  • The NPQH qualification is essential for this role.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is essential.
