Job Title: Maternity Cover Teacher (Foundation Phase)
Location: Llanfechain Church In Wales School, Powys
Hours: 3 Days per Week (0.6 FTE - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday)
Contract Type: Long-Term Maternity Supply (Fixed Term 1 Sept 26-21 May 27)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)

The Governing Body of our small, friendly rural school in the heart of Llanfechain is looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Foundation Phase Teacher to cover maternity leave for our Class One (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2).

• A qualified teacher with experience in Foundation Phase (early years and Key Stage 1).
• A practitioner with a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and practical experience in implementing it.
• Someone skilled in mixed-age teaching, capable of tailoring learning to meet diverse needs.
• A creative teacher who values outdoor education and experiential learning.
• A nurturing professional eager to contribute to a close-knit, family-oriented school community.
