The Governing Body of Ss Gabriel and Raphael Catholic Primary School are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Temporary Teaching Assistants.

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to join our team. The successful candidates will work under the guidance of teaching and senior support staff to:
- Support individuals or small groups of pupils with differentiated learning activities.
- Build positive relationships and promote inclusion for all pupils.
- Encourage independence, resilience and positive behaviour.
- Provide feedback on pupils’ progress and support the monitoring of learning plans.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and general classroom duties.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and physical needs, including personal care where required.
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of our school.
Essential:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience of working with or supporting children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good organisational skills
- A positive, patient and proactive attitude
- Willingness to undertake relevant training
- Experience in a school setting
- Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning
- Knowledge of Learning through play and CFW
- Welsh language skills (any level)
- A warm, supportive and inclusive school community
