Teaching Assistant Level 2 - West Monmouth School

30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

West Monmouth School is a successful 11 - 16 school. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

The contracted hours of work will be 30 hrs per week. The key requirements for each position include:
  • the ability to work well as part of a team, adopting a flexible approach as required
  • excellent communication skills, including IT
  • Level 2 English and Mathematics
  • excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • an excellent understanding of how to support teaching and learning effectively
  • a good understanding of how to support the development of behaviour, emotional and social skills
  • the ability to sensitively support personal care needs of learners as required
